I’m George Northwood, a London based salon owner and hairstylist to a host of VERY exacting celebrities, fashion and beauty editors. I’m excited to join Substack. It felt like the right platform on which to share all the other things happening in my life which make me laugh, cry or jump up and down.
I’m looking forward to sharing everything from my solo surrogacy journey, the challenges of growing up gay, building a brand along with a dose of front row glamour from my work travels to fashion weeks, the Met Gala or Venice Biennale.
There will be tips (lots of them!) to all the best restaurants, bars, shops, galleries that I’m lucky enough to visit. And many thoughts too as to why I have ALWAYS championed an UNDONE approach to hair.
